Roy came punctually, provided a fair estimate for the power washing of the entire townhome and did a very good job of it. But he went further. Observing that, in selling this home, people would be faced with the green stained wall of the next-door neighbor, he washed that too, because – he said – “he was there”. He wouldn’t touch one area of the trim, because the siding below it was wobbly and he came back to wash it later, when the siding was replaced. For neither of these additional services did he ask for remuneration. It is clear to me that Roy is a gentleman, in the old mold unfortunately disappearing fast. It was a pleasure to interact with such a pleasant, competent and thoughtful person.
