I turned to Mike as a situation arose whereby my local council had granted a ‘no prior approval needed’ decision letter for a Larger Home Extension project that I want to undertake. Within days the council had said that this was an administrative mistake due to a neighbours comments on the application and the decision should have been a refusal. This obviously left me very confused and wondering how I could progress and I needed help to determine the next steps Upon contacting MPD and speaking to Mike, the knowledge and experience that he shared with me gave me confidence and reassurance that the decision could not be reversed as the council had failed to notify me within the 42 day period. Mike put me at ease during a very confusing time and I cannot thank him enough. I am now able to continue with the works I want to carry out having and the council will have to sort their mistake out with the neighbour and not me.
