Café De Vink was opened on October 4, 1928 by Mrs. Vink. Started as a market café and later moved on as a gay bar. She turned the café until the 1950s, after which it was run by several entrepreneurs. Because the cafe is located right in the center, it has always remained a lively café and is visited by many people from all sorts of groups.
